WHAT TYPE OF LEASE DOES FARMER’S EXCHANGE OFFER?

Farmer’s Exchange offers joint and several leases.

ARE ANY UTILITIES INCLUDED IN MY RENT?

Residents of Farmer’s Exchange receive cable, water, and trash services included with their rent. Electricity must be set up by residents separately at their own cost.

HOW LONG IS MY LEASE AT FARMER’S EXCHANGE?

Each lease at Farmer’s Exchange is for a 12 month term. Residents are given first option to renew their apartment for another 12 month term.

HOW DO MY ROOMMATES AND I GO ABOUT SIGNING OUR NEW LEASE?

The first step is to complete the leasing application on Farmer’s Exchange website. Once that is complete, a member of our team will contact you with instructions on how to access and sign the lease. The following charges are applicable per lease: $75 application fee, administrative fee, and security deposit equal to one month’s rent.

DO APPLIANCES COME WITH MY APARTMENT?

Yes – each apartment at Farmer’s Exchange comes standard with stainless style appliances including refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and stove. Washer and dryer are provided in the building.

HOW FAR IS FARMER’S EXCHANGE FROM CAMPUS?

Farmer’s Exchange is located across the street from campus.

WHEN IS RENT DUE EACH MONTH?

Rent is due on the 1st of the month and is considered late after 5PM on the 4th. Farmer’s Exchange offers each resident a grace period between the 1st and the 4th to pay their rent with no late fees if paid during that time period.

DO YOU OFFER A FURNISHED OPTION?

No. Farmer’s Exchange does not offer furnished apartments.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE?

Limited on-site and limited off-site (Classic Center Parking Deck) are available for an additional monthly fee.

WHILE I’M A RESIDENT, AM I ALLOWED TO HAVE A PET?

Yes, Farmer’s Exchange allows pets, but all pets must be approved by management. Roommates and pet owner must pay a non-refundable $300 pet fee.
